Gladys E. Bartosh, 93, Velva, died Monday, May 29, 2006 in a Minot hospital.

Gladys was born October 31, 1912 in Everett, Washington, the daughter of Paul and Anita (Sloan) Bonney. As an infant she moved with her family to North Dakota where she was raised and educated. Over the years she lived in numerous communities in North Dakota and across the United States. In 1994 she moved to Velva, ND, where she since had lived.

Gladys was a member of the Velva Senior Citizens.

Survivors: Children, Blaine (Debra) Amundson, Cummings, GA, Bonnie (Dennis) Anderson, Beverly Boechler, Marilyn (Dan) Gilday and Jan (Dick) Epplett, all of Velva, Carol Ashcroft, Lodi, CA, and stepson, Donald Amundson, San Diego, CA; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husbands, Orlando Stalwick, Chester Amundson, and Donald Bartosh; her parents, Paul and Anita Bonney and numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral: Friday, June 2, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at United Methodist Church, Velva, ND.

Visitation: Friday one hour prior to the service in the church.

Burial: Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Velva, ND.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Valley View Manor or the Velva Ambulance, both in Velva, ND.
