Bernice E. "Bodie" Highley, 81, of Fort Pierce, died Jan. 26, 2002, at Indian River Memorial Hospital, Vero Beach. She was born Nov. 30, 1920, in Bismarck, Mo., and moved to Fort Pierce 12 years ago from Bellville, Ill. She was a member of Our Living Lord Lutheran Church, Vero Beach. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Perry B. Highley Sr. of Fort Pierce; two sons, Randall Highley of Hinsdale, Ill., and Perry B. Highley Jr. of Seattle, Wash., and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Aycock Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert L. Cosmos of Living Lord Lutheran Church officiating. Friends may call 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund, Living Lord Lutheran Church, 2725 58th Ave., Vero Beach, Fla. 32966, in Mrs. Highley's memory.
