MRS. HAWLEY
Funeral services for Mrs. Della Hightower Hawley, 81, of 703 W. Rusk St., were held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Colonial Chapel of the Sullivan Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Roger P. Rishel officiating. Burial was in the Algoma Cemetery.
Mrs. Hawley died at 11 p.m. Wednesday in the Marshall Memorial Hospital after an illness of two years.
A native of Elysian Fields, she was the daughter of Richard Levesly Hightower and the former Alice Fortson, both of Elysian Fields. She attended the Elysian Fields public schools, and graduated from Marshall High School and Sophie Marshchalk Business School for Women here.
