TOMMY E. GRAGSON, JR., age 85, a long-time resident of Irving, died Monday, September 4, 2017 at a local care facility. Born February 23, 1932 in Dallas, he was the son of the late Tommy Edward Gragson, Sr. Della Pauline Smith Gragson. He had attended Crozier Tech High School in Dallas. He was a retired Master welder and plumber. Preceded in death by his wife Mary Jane, his parents, and a sister, Joyce Holman, he is survived by two daughters, Cindy Crow and husband Charles and Cheryl Bass and husband Larry: three grandchildren, Jackie and Jordan Johnson, and Chelsea Bass; and a great granddaughter, Piper Johnson. A graveside funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. Rev. Ed Samples will officiate. Masonic graveside rites will be provided by the J. V. Callan Lodge.
