Frank Knoke, Resident of This County For 31 years, Died here Thursday Night
Krank Knoke, resident of Sweet Grass county for 31 years died in this city Thursday evening of cancer and other ailments. The body was taken to the Patterson & Graff parlor, funeral service being at the Evangelical church Monday afternoon Rev. H. S. Tool in charge. Many old friends attended the service. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery by the side of his wife who passed in 1939.
Pallbearers were: Active-- J. H. Preston, B. F. Henry, Oskar Drivdahl, Scott Baker, George W. Smith, James G. Woods. Honorary-- O. A. Fallang, Anshelm Olin, A. C. Boyles, Dr. D. Claiborn, W. K. Amery, Will Churchill.
Deceased was born in Van Buren, Ohio, August 17, 1866, and in 1890 was married to Mary Ellen Watson of that place. They came to Montana in 1911 and located near Glasston, where they lived until 1926 then moved to Springdale, Mr. Knoke made that his last residence.
Survivors are Eugene Knoke of Springdale, Mrs. Doris Dickson of Plummer, Idaho; Mrs. Dorothy Megaard of Manhattan, Mont. There are also six grandchildren.
When Glasston was in its palmy days, following irrigation projects by the Glass-Lindsay Co., Mr. Knoke was one of its most prominent residents,
