A funeral for Barbara Kaufman will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. She died Saturday of causes related to age in a Vancouver convalescent center. She was 71.
Mrs. Kaufman was born in New York state on Oct. 26, 1917, and had lived in Vancouver since 1945. She was a foster parent for about 80 children over the years.
Surviving Mrs. Kaufman are her son, Steve of Vancouver; stepdaughter, Vina Parker of Florida; sister, Ann Antionelli of New York State; and a grandson. Oregonian, Tuesday, July 11, 1989
