Born Minnie Leigh Stafford and always known as Leigh, she was the daughter of W. J. C. F. Stafford and Millie "May" Stout.

She married Evan John Foulds, son of John Evans Foulds and Mary Augusta Frick, between 1910 and 1916; they were married until her death. The couple had at least one child, namely:

Virginia (Foulds) Powell [Mrs. Jerome V. Powell] (1916-1973).

"Leigh Foulds
Funeral services are pending today for Mrs. Leigh Foulds, of 1600 Euclid Ave. Mrs. Foulds died of a heart attack early this morning at her home.
A native of Klamath Falls, Ore., Mrs. Foulds had lived here close to 50 years.
She had been active in the PTA and other civic activities and was a member of the Berkeley Women's City Club.
Surviving are her husband, Evan, retired attorney and a daughter, Virginia Powell, of Switzerland."

A member of College Women's Club and past president of PTA.
Friends are invited to attend services Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. at the Berkeley Hills Chapel (Page & Oder), 1602 Shattuck Ave. at Cedar, Berkeley. Dr. F. Marlon Smith officiating.
