S.D. Barngrover Dead.
S.D. BARNGROVER, 71, died at his home north of town Monday morning.
He had been in poor health for some time, and a heart attack suffered the last few days proved fatal.
Mr. BARNGROVER was an old resident of this community, coming to Kansas in February 1873. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Wm. LATHROP of Lyndon; two brothers, A.J. and Charles BARNGROVER of Carbondale; three sons, Arthur, of Topeka, and Earl and Frank of Carbondale.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary and his wife who died in 1918.
Funeral services were held from the Community Church Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in Carbondale cemetery.
