THOMASVILLE--Mrs. Snoda Brower Peace, 82, widow of W.H.Peace died this morning in Maryfield Nursing Home in High Point. She was born in Randolph County on December 30, 1880, a daughter of John Franklin and Dorcas Blair Brower. She had been a resident of Thomasville since 1902. She was a member of Memorial Methodist Church, member of the ladies Bible class, the Woman's Club. On March 19, 1902, she was married to W. H. Peace, a church, civic and religious leader
of Thomasville. He died June 18, 1961.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Peace Waiser of E. Lexington Ave., in High Point; a granddaughter, Mrs. Grover Myers of Asheville, and two grandsons.
Funeral will be held at J.C. Green & Sons Chapel Wednesday at 3 pm by Rev. M.E. Harbin, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church. Entombment will be in Guilford Park
Mausoleum.
Pallbearers were Dr. Edward L. Jones, Julius A. Green, Fred E. Wilson, Sr. Gaither Walse, N.C. English, George L. Hundley, Harvey A. Carpenter & R.W. Thompson.
