Mrs Armatha Griffin Wilson, 86, a native of Harrison County, of 212
Virginia Ave., passed away at 10:20 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's
Hospital after having been seriously ill for the last three weeks.
She was born May 7, 1880, a daughter of the late John Calvin Griffin and
Mary Ellen Cunningham Griffin. She was twice married, having been
preceded in death by her first husband, Gordon Ernest Kishbaugh, in
1904, and by her second husband, David Franklin Wilson, in 1914.
Surviving are two sons, Tyson P Kishbaugh of 200 Edison St, Nutter Fort,
and William M Wilson of 111 Waverly Way; two daughters, Miss Clayce G
Kishbaugh of 212 Virginia Ave, and Mrs. Miriam W Zeller of 535 Hillcrest
Circle, Bridgeport; seven grandchild, Clayce Gordon Kishbaugh II of
Zanesville, Ohio, David Franklin Kishbaugh of Clarksburg, Marilou Wilson
Zeller of Hillcrest Circle, David William Hodges of Silver Spring, Md,
Miriam Wilson Hodges of 212 Virginia Ave, and Betsy and Eric Wilson of
111 Waverly Way; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by a son, Brooks Kishbaugh; a daughter, Mary Lou Wilson Hodges;
two brothers and a sister.
Mrs. Wilson was a Baptist by faith. She was the recipient of the 50-year
pin for membership in Queen Esther Chapter 11, Order of Eastern Star,
and was also a member of the Ladies of Oriental Shrine, Isis Court of
Wheeling.
Friends will be received at the Davis funeral Home after 7 o'clock this
evening.
