Betty Jim Curtis Knowles, loving wife of the late William Thomas "Punk" Knowles, left this world to spend eternity with the Lord on 4 Sep 2018, at Aiken Regional Hospital, Aiken, South Carolina.
Betty was the daughter of Namon Henry Curtis and Minnie Lee Sanders. She is survived by daughters, Lynn Knowles, Carolyn (Don) Gibson, Marilyn (Frank) Miller and grandchildren, Candy (Bobby) Griffin and Jason (Amber) Stokes; great grandchildren, Makenzie Griffin, Madison Griffin, Cameron Stokes and Tanner Stokes; a number of nieces and nephews.
Betty was born in Langley, Aiken, South Carolina has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, South Carolina. She was a member of Little Horse Creek Baptist Church in Graniteville, S.C.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved her family and her church with all of her heart.
Betty shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives she has touched during the 86 years that God granted her on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones.
I will surely miss her. She was always like a mother to me.
