Charles Edward Allen, 57, of Macon, MO, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018, at the Samaritan Hospital in Macon.
Charles was born on August 7, 1961 in Salina, KS the son of Jack and Rebecca Allen. He served thirty years in the US Army and National Guard. Charles worked at ConAgra and enjoyed fishing, slot cars, and spending time with his family and friends.
Charles is survived by his parents, Jack and Rebecca Allen of Macon, one brother, Michael J. Allen, one sister, Lashanna Davidson and her spouse Kayla, three loyal dogs, and several aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Monday, September 10, 2018, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO, with Father Ben Nwosu and Rev. Mr. Lloyd Collins officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be in the Jacksonville Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service, at the funeral home in Macon. Family suggests memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project.
