Theodore B. Deming, 75, died at his home in West Brattleboro Saturday after an illness of several months. The funeral was held from the house Monday, Rev. J. H. Babbitt officiating, and the body was taken to Wilmington for burial. Mr. Deming as born In North Adams, Mass., Jan. 1825. At the age of 20 he left his native town and went to Wilmington where he lived until his removal to West Brattleboro about eight years ago. Mr. Deming was a tailor by trade and during part of his life In Wilmington he carried on a large tailoring establishment. Since coming to Brattleboro he had done no active work, having been in poor health the greater part of the time. In 1884 Mr. Deming married Mercy A. Carr, who survives him.
