(Below is some genealogical research that I found. It appears to be accurate)
Olive Grace Jermyn – birth registered in Jan-March volume 1897 in Orsett. Her birthdate is given elsewhere as 20 Dec 1896.

In 1901 she appears in the census as aged 4. Her father is listed as Thomas and her mother as Sarah. Thomas was 32 and Sarah, 34 years old. Their children are listed as May (8), Nellie (6), Olive (4) Thomas was a bricklayer at this time.

In 1911, Olive was living in 185 Baldock Rd, Letchworth, Herts. She was 14 years old. She was at school. Her elder sisters May and Nellie were still living at home. Thomas was a coal dealer, while May was a sewing machinist. (Originally someone had written "dressmaker" but that is crossed out. Nellie was a shop assistant. The family name was given as Jennings but corrected to Jermyn. It seems someone didn't read the name properly.

May is listed in one family tree as "Elsie May" as the wife of Edwin Charles Sharp and mother of Thomas Arthur Jermyn, but this seems a bit doubtful to me. Of course, if you had a Great Uncle Thomas Arthur Jermyn (or Sharp) then this IS the right May.

In 1925, Olive married George H Porter. The marriage was registered between July and September as having taken place in Hitchin.
In 1928, Audrey M Porter was born it Hitchin.
Margaret A.E. Porter followed in 1936
