MRS. HAZEL R. CHILDERS, 76, of Memphis, retired Firestone employee, died Saturday at her home after a long illness. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens. Mrs. Childers was a member of Agape Baptist Church, the Young in Heart of Broadmoor Baptist Church and Firestone Retirees Club. She was the widow of Ed Childers and leaves three daughters, Mrs. Eddie Williamson of Memphis, Mrs. Tina Brown of Lake Cormorant, Miss., and Mrs. Bettye Gentry of Olive Branch, Miss.; 11 grandchildren, three step=grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family requests any memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society or to Agape Baptist Church.
