Manitowoc - Glen W. "Pa" Weekes, age 92, a Manitowoc resident, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Woodside Manor III, Green Bay.

He was born on August 29, 1925 in Minneapolis, MN., son of the late Elmer and Edith (Downs) Weekes. Glen served during World War II in the United States Navy. On November 15, 1947 he married the former Margaret (Sally) Singer at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on August 11, 2011. Glen was a machinist with the Manitowoc Company, Ice Division, for many years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the AmVets Post #99 and St. Francis of Assisi, Manitowoc.

Survivors include three sons and four daughters-in-law: Gary & Jan Weekes, Green Bay, Dr. Richard & Kimberly Weekes, Milwaukee, Robert & Sue Weekes, Green Bay, Sue Weekes, Cary, NC.; one son-in-law: Robert (Nancy) Check, Lebanon, TN.; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters: Evelyn Dahl, Woodland, CA., Maxine Sanchez, Reno, NV.; one brother: Gene Weekes, CA.; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Barb Weekes, Manitowoc, Jan Singer, Manitowoc, and Mary & Jack Plattner, St. Germaine. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by one daughter: Kathleen Check; one son: Gregory Weekes; one great granddaughter: Hailey McCrow; one brother: Eldon Weekes; and three brothers-in-law: George Dahl, Pete Sanchez and Bob Singer.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Avenue) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Mark Mleziva with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Graveside Military Rites will be accorded by AmVets Post #99.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand (1416 Grand Avenue) Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2018 until 10:45 a.m.
