WILLARD F. SAUVE
(1903 - 1999)

Willard F. Sauve, age 96, of 107 Park Road, Two Rivers, died Friday afternoon, September 10, 1999, at the Two Rivers Community Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 13, 1999, at St. Luk Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Rev. Larry Seidl will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment to follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc.

Willard was born March 23, 1903, in Marinette, Wis., son of the late Theodore and Frances McDonald Sauve. On May 3, 1952, he married Evelyn Borusky. Willard sold Metropolitan Insurance in the Two Rivers area for many years, prior to establishing Sauve's Toy Shop which grew into school supplies and then office supplies. In 1982, following his retirement, he became an ordained Deacon in the Catholic church serving St. Luke Church for several years. Over the years, Willard served on the school board, county board, the Library Foundation, and was a very active member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was also a former member of the Two Rivers Silver K. Kiwanis Club.

Survivors include his wife, Eveln Sauve, Two Rivers; one son, Dudley D. Sauve, Farmville, Va.; three grandchildren, Linda Sauve, Farmville, Va., Susie Sauve-Smith, Richmond, Va., James Sauve, Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Ruth Sauve, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relative and friends including a special niece and nephew, Nancy and Roger Orchekowski. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Claudine Reynolds; one son, Rev. James Sauve S.J.; five sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at St. Luke Catholic Church from 10 a.. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Monday.

Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers is assisting the family with arrangements.
