Opal C. Loucks, 92, Manhattan, Kansas, died Friday, May 4, 2007, at the Stoneybrook Retirement Community in Manhattan.
She was born in 1915 near Hesston, Kansas, to Nathaniel and Arletta (Glover) Blosser.
She graduated from Newton High School.
She married Martin Loucks, rural Hesston, KS, in 1935. He survives.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Petty, Topeka, KS, and Becky Loucks, Eureka, KS; two sons, Jim Loucks, Onaga, KS, and Bill Loucks, Manhattan, KS; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, and a great-grandson.
Burial will be May 9, 2007, at the Koger/Cheatham Cemetery, located eight miles south, two east and a half mile north of Fredonia, Kansas.
