She was born on May 29, 1928 in Cleveland. She was a 53 year resident of Cleveland Heights, previously residing in Little Italy. She was a life-long member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and a life-long member of Club Girls. She was a graduate of Murray Hill Grade School, and John Hay High School. For over 15 years, she worked as an office manager for her husband’s clinical psychology practice, and was his care giver until his death in January of 2018. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
Our mom and Grammy Rosetta was a steadfast supporter and cheerleader for each of us. She said, “I’m 100% behind you”.
She is survived by her children, Albert Z. (Katherine), Renee Paolino (Rick Gibson) and Andrea Paolino (Mark Burkhardt), her grandchildren Alex Paolino-Gibson (Jason Glombicki), Vincent Burkhardt, Valerie Paolino and Cora Paolino who lovingly called her Grammy, her twin sister Marie Velotta, her sister Jeanette Rossi, sister-in-law Virginia Bastulli, and was a cherished sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert F., Ph.D., her parents Anthony and Cora (Annandono) Bastulli, her brother Anthony “Chick” Bastulli, and brother-in-law Donald Velotta.
The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Rosetta on Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 4-8 PM at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of South Euclid, 4600 Mayfield Rd. (just East of Green Rd.). Cremation will follow the Mass, with private burial in Lake View Cemetery. Fr. Thomas Haren will celebrate the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, 21281 Chardon Rd., Euclid, OH 44117.
