SALLY A. STAAB, age 64, of 1608 Monroe St., Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Friday morning, Feb. 17, 2012, at the Aurora Medial Center, Two Rivers.

Sally was born July 8, 1947, in Green Bay, a daughter of the late F. Carl and Cecelia (Petasek) Matzke. She graduated from Reedsville High School with the Class of 1965. On Jan. 23, 1971, she married Robert J. Staab in Two Rivers. Sally worked for a few years at Mirro Aluminum Co. and later worked as the accounts payable clerk for Paragon Electric Co. of Two Rivers for the next 29 years. She currently held the position of Municipal Court Clerk for the City of Two Rivers Police Department. Sally enjoyed going to rummage sales. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed her flowers and canning, and was also an avid Packer Fan.

Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Staab, Two Rivers; her stepchildren, Patrick (Raelene) Staab, Two Rivers; Peggy (Rick) Maigatter, Manitowoc; Pater Staab and friend, Crystal Taddy, Two Rivers; and Paul (Supapon) Staab, Green Bay; 11 step-grandchildren and one ste-great-grandchild. She is further survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Jerry Blink, Florida; Doris and Tom Grall, Whitelaw; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Roger and Carol Matzke Wrightstown, and Mike Matzke, all of Green Bay. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Sue Matzke, Green Bay; Mabel (Ray) Ploeckelmann, Cleveland; and Rosemary (Mike) Bodart, Two Rivers; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Matzke; and one sister-in-law, Helen Riha.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. The Rev. John Becker will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.

Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506-18th St., Two Rivers, from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening and at the church Thursday morning after 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, is serving the Staab family.
