HENDERSON, Nev. - Delia Weston "De De" Williams, 67, of the 2100 block of Fallsburg Way, died June 14, 2007, in St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Henderson. A native of Warrenton, N.C., she was a buyer in the furniture industry for more than 20 years and a former member of Emaunel AME Church in Portsmouth. She was an honor graduate of I.C. Norcom High School, Class of 1957, and received an associates degree in business management from Nassau Community College.

Survivors include her husband, Joel R. Clausen; three daughters, Yvette Smith, Sharon Smith and Renee Smith; three sons, Earl Williams Jr., Kevin Williams (Nichele) and Damon Williams (Charlene); three brothers, Leonard Weston Jr. (Earlene), Benjamin Weston (Armitta) and Alvin Weston (Rachel); eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a host of other family members and friends. She was predeceased by sisters, Goldie Weston Robinson, Ruth Weston Brown and a brother, Leroy Weston.

A funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in Emanuel AME Church, Portsmouth, by the Rev. William A. Dyson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, will begin at 2 p.m. today, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:15 p.m. Friday for the procession to the church.
