Lucille Alfonso, nee Johnson, born June 6, 1926, in Fair Oaks, IN., passed away Jan. 31, 2002, at her home in Wilmette, beloved wife of the late Nick Alfonso; loving mother of Nickolette Rose (Jay) Karabush and the late Marie Fay (Don) Byrnes; proud grandmother of Robert Carl Krause Jr., Katie Marie Byrnes, Lauren Ashley and Ryann Marie Karabush; dear sister of Faye Hess, George Johnson, late Vivian Vlahogeorge, late Thomas and late John Johnson; loving daughter of the late George and late Faye Johnson; fond aunt of Janice, John V., Mary, John J., Thomas, Becky, Jeff, George, Faye, Katheleen, Sam and Courtney.
