On August 31, 2018. Ann Scow died peacefully in her sleep of natural causes at the age of 94. Ann was born March 23, 1924 in Judson ND, the fourth of five children, to Fred and Barbara Meuchel. She moved to Helena where she met and married her husband, Orval Scow. They were married on June 1st, 1946 and celebrated 70 years of marriage before Orv's passing on March 16, 2017. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Orv; their 2 sons, Ken and Tim; sisters Rose Nelson, Donna Mae Meuchel and brother Frank Meuchel. Ann is survived by her sister, two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann worked for the MT State Liquor Board and Union Bank. Orv retired from Mountain Bell Phone Company. Ann and Orv built and remodeled their many homes in Helena. Orv was a very accomplished finishing carpenter and loved working with his hands. Ann made their homes comfortable and inviting for family and friends.
