Young Man Dies Following Operation

Homer Denison of Sterling lost in his _____ struggle for life in the Salina hospital Tuesday afternoon. They young man was stricken with influenza some time ago. While he was down with the flu, he developed appendicitis. He was taken to the Salina hospital and operated on, but the condition of the appendics was so bad at the time of ther first operation that grave doubts were left for his recovery from the first. Two other operations were performed but to no avail. He died Tuesday.

He is a young man, 19 years of age. His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Hans Denison of Sterling, formerly of Manti. He is survived by five brothers and three sisters.

He is well known in Manti, having attended the high school here two years ago and also a part of last year.
