Obituary

Emory E. Easton, 65, of 1712 K Street, Bedford, died at 12:35 p.m. Friday at Dunn Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for the past two years.

He had been employed as an air conditioning and heating service man.

He was born in Lawrence County April 23, 1908, the son of Adam and Lola Hawkins Easton. He married Hazel Speer Sept. 19, 1930, at Anderson, Ind., and she survives.

Mr. Easton was a veteran of World War Two.

Surviving, in addition to the wife, are the step-mother, Mrs. Helen Easton of Indianapolis; three brothers, Anial Easton and Fred Easton, both of Miami, Fla., and Allen Easton of Terre Haute; eight sisters, Mrs. Richard (Viola) Inman, Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Clinton, Mrs. Walter (Clara) Woody, all of Bedford, Mrs. Terry (Sue) Robinson of Indianapolis, Mrs. Paul (Diane) Biggers of Logansport, Mrs. Don (Brenda) Peltier of Portage, Ind., Mrs. Robert (Jacki) Sartain of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Mike (Sally) Graham of Sullivan, and several aunts, uncles. nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Bro. Carl Flinn officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:00 p.m. today.
