Dick was trained as an Aeronautical Engineer prior to enlisting in the US Army Air Corp where he was a crew chief during WWII. After the service he worked as an electrician for Union Carbide and drove truck for Glen Artman. He and his wife served as EMT's for the Conneautville Ambulance Service for many years. He was known as a gentle kind man who was friendly and considerate to all who ever had the pleasure to know him. He enjoyed passing on his wisdom and practical approach to life.
