Leta Pearl (Jackson) Raspaolo

Leta was born to Arthur and Mary Jackson on May 10, 1924 in Atchison, Kansas and she went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2018.

Sisters Juanita Bland, Wilma Weimer, Barbara Bryant, and Patty Long preceded Leta in death and sister Virginia Hillis and brother Art (Sonny) Jackson, both of El Dorado Springs survive along with her children George Barber, Virginia (Ginger) Miles, Kent Mosher, Bart Mosher, Bret Mosher, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Leta grew up in Cedar County, Mo. near Caplinger Mills and graduated from Stockton High School. The majority of her adult life was spent in southern California. About ten years ago Leta relocated to El Dorado Springs and lived there until her passing.

During Leta’s final years in El Dorado Springs she made a profession of Christian faith. As a young person, she became fond of Herriman Chapel near Cedar Springs.

A memorial service for Leta was held at Herriman Chapel, with Rev. Brent Bland officiating, on Saturday March 10, 2018. Leta’s remains were interred at the Herriman Cemetery.
