He was a member of Skyline Heights Baptist Church for 22 years.
Mr. Harrison proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He was employed as a shipping supervisor for Gordon's Furniture having retired after 35 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty H. Laws.
He is survived by his wife, Martha A. Harrison of Johnson City; daughter: Linda Harrison Keeton and husband Randy of Roanoke Rapids, NC; son: Willie Lee Harrison and wife Vickie of Johnson City; sister: Peggy Godsey of Johnson City; three brothers: Garland Harrison and wife Betty of Johnson City; Norman Harrison and wife Mae of Gray; Kenneth Harrison and wife Betty of Gray; grandchildren: Colby Orren; Meagan Orren Mills; Dustin Keeton; William D. Harrison; step-grandchildren: Stacy Keeton Daniel; Randy Keeton III, Tanya Wilcox Herman; great-grandchildren: Riley Mills; Brayden Mills; Neela Orren; several nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law: Norma Stuckey of Decatur, Arkansas.
Funeral services for Mr. Harrison will be held on Thursday at 8:00 PM in the Sunrise Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Don Paige and Pastor Kenneth Kyker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM prior to the service. Entombment will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM in Washington County Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
