Elaine M. Martin, 72, of Custer, Wis., died Jan. 16, 2001 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Fla.
She was born March 1, 1928 in Chilton, the daughter of the late Wendell and Twilia (Adams) Schultz. She graduated from Chilton High School in 1946. She married Donald H. Martin on June 25, 1949. Her husband died Oct. 21, 1999.
In addition of being a full time loving mother, she worked part-time in the retail industry at Pranges and Jackson Pharmacy of Wausau, and at Campbell’s Clothing of Minocqua.
Elaine enjoyed her family, especially her five grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her winters at Siesta Bay Resort in Fort Myers, Fla. With her close and special Florida friends.
Elaine was a member of the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord in Florida.
Survivors include two sons, Gary (Janalee) Martgin, Marshfield, Wis., Thomas (Kay) Martin, Laurenceville, Ga., one daughter, Cindy (Terry) Davis, Custer, Wis.; five grandchildren, Tony Martin, Kyle and Gregory Martin, Sarah and Maria Davis; one sister, Jean (Ralph) Pfeiffer, Kiel.
Funeral services were at Stevens Point. Entombment was at St. Michaels Cemetery in Wausau.
