Graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, in 1952. Served churches in Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin; also, as Dean of Students at Northwestern Lutheran Academy in Mobridge, SD. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Cynthia (Runge), his children; Mary, Rev. Mark (Kari) and Rev. Philip (Elizabeth), 7 grandchildren; Amalia, Hannah, Samuel, Rev. Paul (fiancé Meghan), Christine, Michael Elizabeth and Lydia, his nephew Steven (Karen) Olson, his niece Elisabeth (Dan) Tienor other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00pm on Monday September 24th at Risen Savior Lutheran Church (9501 W Brown Deer Rd Milwaukee). Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 3:00pm until time of service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
