Manitowoc, Wisconsin - Charlotte M. Gottschalk, a baptized child of God, age 86, of Manitowoc passed away peacefully and beheld her Savior, Jesus, face to face on Thursday evening, September 13, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

Charlotte was born on December 14, 1931 in rural Shawano County, daughter of the late Oliver and Ida (Huebner) Clark. She attended her country grade school and graduated with the class of 1949 from Shawano High School. Charlotte married Roger A. Gottschalk on February 8th 1952 at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. She worked as a Nurses Aide at hospitals in Shawano, University Hospital in Madison and Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc. Charlotte was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Two Rivers.

Survivors include her husband: Roger Gottschalk, Manitowoc; one daughter and son-in-law: Lori & Rev. William Kilps, Two Rivers; one son and daughter-in-law: Rev. Kenton and Christiana Gottschalk, Cato; seven grandchildren: Nathan Kilps, Billy (Becky) Kilps, Angela Gottschalk Rudd, Karianne Gottschalk, Korianne Gottschalk, Kelci Pollart,Taylor Pollart and great grandchildren. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her four brothers: Oliver (Pete) Clark, Carlos Clark, Woodrow Clark and David Clark.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Douglas Peters. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. at the church.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Holy Family Memorial Hospice and Holy Family Hospital nursing staff for their compassionate care given.
