Larry Moore, 69, died Sunday, September 23, 2018, at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Greenlawn Cemetery. Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon, SC is assisting the family.
Mr. Moore was born in Dillon, SC, August 2, 1949, the son of the late Charlie and Pauline Cottingham Moore. Larry enjoyed restoring old and new cars. He worked as a self-employed Auto-Body Worker. Mr. Moore was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Hayes Moore of the home; son, Larry Joseph Moore of Dillon; daughters, Lisa Ann Moore, Amy Elizabeth Moore and Hannah Marie Moore all of Dillon; grandchildren, Carmon Sweat, Julie Sweat, Dalton Sweat, Molly Moore, Ethan Moore, Brooklyn Parnell, Addison Parnell, Miguel Acosta, Isabella Acosta, and Sofia Acosta; and sisters, Emma Jean Moore of Dillon, SC, Linda Hyatt (Red) of Dillon and Mildred “Pete” Phillips (Doug) of Florence. Mr. Moore was predeceased by his grandchild, Zoey Sophia Moore; brothers, Billy and Buddy Moore; and sisters, Frances Alexson, Sarah Hunt, Gladys Wilkerson and Willidean Cottingham.
