Richard J. Borah, 69, was a Marine Corps veteran. Mr. Borah was a finish carpenter and residential contractor and builder for more than 50 years. In 1972, he developed a partnership with Frank Rossi called Rossi & Borah Builders of Niskayuna. He was a communicant of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church.
His wife, Gloria White Borah, whom he married Feb. 13, 1955, died in 1987. Survivors include two daughters; a brother, Kenneth Borah of Binghamton; and a sister, Winifred Pinkowski of Schenectady.
