Frank Joseph Hodle III, 53, of Dallas, passed away after suffering heart complications on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018.

He was born to his parents, Frank and Catherine Budnick-Hodle, on Nov. 14, 1965, in Wilkes-Barre. He attended Dallas High School and West Side Technical School.

He opened his first business with his father when he was 18 and continued to run an auto repair facility until his death. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Keri Dugan-Hodle.

Frank's joy in life was spending time with his family and friends, most especially his children and his grandchildren. Frank was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was known for his love of cars. In his spare time, he enjoyed tinkering around with his many cars in the garage, watching his favorite television shows, anything car related, fishing at Frances Slocum and quad riding. He will always be remembered as being loving, strong and a best friend to his children.

His legacy will be carried on by his five siblings, Michael Hodle, Harveys Lake; Cathy Kovaleski, Dallas; Bertha Hodle, West-Wyoming; Kimberley Kashatus, Trucksville; and Samantha Hodle, Hunlock Creek; children, Amanda Faneck and her husband, Tim; Cassandra Miller and her fiancée, Chris; Anna Buck and her husband, Jack; Frank Miller; Kate Hodle, Lauren Hodle, Nicholas Hodle, Madison Hodle, Ashely Gasper and Cody Gasper; grandchildren, Abigail, Landon, Sawyer, Annabella, Grayson and Julia; and godchild, Grace Pepe.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Lehman-Gregory Funeral Home Inc., 281 Chapel St., Swoyersville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Cabrini Church, 585 Mount Olivet Road, Wyoming. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
