Mrs. Ethel Boram Moneypenny, 103, of Nottingham, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at Brightview Assisted Living.
She was born Aug. 30, 1915, in Lewis County, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Alonzo and Cora McCue Boram.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Thomas L. Moneypenny, on January 1, 2009.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been preceeded in death by her parents, six brothers, four sisters, husband, son, Thomas R Moneypenny and daughter Velma Lick and grandchild.
She is survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their families.
She loved working in the yard, garden and with her flowers, and loved tending to her chickens. She also loved to make quilts by hand and also crochet.
Services were held Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at Lassahn Funeral Home, with interment in the Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air, Maryland.
