Funeral services for Mr. Huey Douglas Bonnette will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Hineston Tabernacle Church with Reverends Robert Barker, Danny George, Sonny Murphy and Jeff Scroggins officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Cemetery, Hineston, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Hineston.
Mr. Bonnette, 80, of Elmer, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was a member of the Hineston Tabernacle Church and the Masonic Lodge. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lola and James Bonnette; two brothers, Loyd Bonnette and J.D. Bonnette; his stepdaughter, Janet Smith; father-in-law, I.M. Carroll and mother-in-law, Jessie Carroll.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-one years, Margaret Bonnette, of Elmer; two sons, Max Bonnette and his wife, Stacy, of Hineston and Brian Bonnette and his wife, Celena, of Orange, TX; son-in-law, K.W. Smith, of LaCamp; stepdaughter, Kaye Wilt, of Leesville; four grandchildren, Kelsey Chandler and her husband, Heath, Caitlin Bonnette, Dustin Bonnette and Carlie Bonnette and three great grandchildren, Wayburn Chandler, Alaina Chandler and Allie Chandler.
Friends may call at Hineston Tabernacle Church, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
