Frank C. Martin, age 83 of Morris, Indiana, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at Hospitality Hall in Batesville. Born April 27, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan, he is the son of Catherine (Nee: Messang) and Frank J. Martin.
Frank owned and operated Martin Trenching for 50 years, before retiring in 1995. He was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Knights of Columbus Council #1461 and the Indiana Land Improvement Contractors Association. He was also served on the Morris Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years, 10 as Fire Chief.
He is survived by several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Russell Martin.
Services were entrusted to Weigel Funeral Home of Batesville, Indiana.
