ROBERTS - Mamie Roberts. 69. Jabez, died Thursday. Sept 29, at her home following a short illness .
She was a former employee of Atlas Underwear Company, Netlie Creek Industries and Bartels Industries, all of Richmond, Ind. She retired as a seamstress in 1964 and moved to Kentucky in 1965. She was a member of the
Senior Citizens Group in Russell Springs and the Morrows Chapel Baptist Church. For the past two years, she operated the Jabez Craft Shop on a voluntary basis.
Born Aug 8, 1914, In Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Kittle Burton Turner. She was married April 29, 1934, to Hugh 'Zelmer Roberts, who preceded her In death on July 15, 1981.
Survivors Include two sons, Darrell Roberts, Odessa, Texas, and Gary Roberts. Paris Crossing, Ind., two brothers, Marvin
Turner Sadievillle, and_Randall Turner, Faubush; 10 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; six great grandchildren
and two step great grandchildren.
Two brothers; Murl and Travis Turner, and two Infant brothers preceded her In death.
Services will be held at 1p.m.. EDT tomorrow at the chapel of Morris and Hlslope Funeral Home, Science Hill, with Bro. Matthew Turner officiating.
Burial will be In Roberts Cemetery at Jabez.
Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. today at'the funeral home.
