On Wednesday, Oct. 25, Mrs. Vera "Jeanette" Williamson Brown, passed away at her home in Slidell. She was 72 years old. Mrs. Brown, was born Feb. 24, 1934 in Meridian, Mississippi.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter Johanna "Jo" McGonigal and son-in-law Monk McGonigal, her daughter Kathy Creekmore Vinet and son-in-law John Vinet, sisters Helen Hopkins, Dessie Woodall, Barbara Wooten & Margaret Wooten, brother Kenny Pope, and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lessie & Ollie Pope, husbands Frank "Top" Williamson & Wallace Brown, sisters Catherine Nicholls & Bettie Weldon, brothers Lessie & CD Pope, and nephew Dave Stodard.
