Special thanks to the wonderful nursing staff at St. Mary's Home who took such loving care of Father John. Your kindness will never be forgotten by the family.

"Other than Jesus Christ, what has influenced my own priestly ministry the most is "The Decree on the Ministry and Life of Priests," Chapter 2, "The Function of Priests", which tells me "... it is the first task of priests as co-workers of the bishops to preach the gospel of God to all men". If you were to ask any of the people whom I have served during the past 45 years what my outstanding quality is, I am sure they would immediately respond "excellent homilies". I have spent much time in preparing and presenting the Word of God. Perhaps it is my background from Manitowoc County Normal School that gave me great joy in teaching at all grade levels from pre-school through college. Jesus IS my Master Teacher."

"Brothers and sisters, I must say good-bye. Mend your ways. Encourage one another. Live in harmony and peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you." 1 Corinthians 13.11.
