Ilse was my birth mother who was forced to give me up for adoption in 1947 as a result of adverse circumstances in the Danish refugee camp Grove-Gedhus following World War II. She lost one little daughter, Roswitha to malnutrition at Struer Refugee camp before transfer to Grove-Gedhus.
Her loving but desperate actions saved my life enabling me to live a full and wonderful life.
She is my greatest heroine. Ursula Geromin/ Sue Wehnert Guss (email: [email protected] or [email protected])
