Walter Kessell is my grandfather. He is buried next to his second wife, Blanche Catherine (Bump) Kessell. He died 2 days after having exploratory surgery for cancer in his stomach. He had 9 children with Blanche, 8 of which survived to adulthood. He had 4 girls and 5 boys, 1 of the boys died in New York, either Long Island or Brooklyn at 18 months old. 3 of his 4 boys served their country in WW2 and the Korean War.
