Frank Gorsuch, 74, died at Memorial Hospital Dec. 10th after an illness of several years. Mr. Gorsuch had been a resident of Converse County since 1919 and had resided in town for the past 12 years. He was born Jan. 9, 1876 at Bloomington, Kansas, the son of Joe and Mary Gorsuch. When a small boy he moved with his family to Jameson, Missouri, later moving back to Bloomington. He attended school at both places. In 1919 he was united in marriage to Phoebe Powers at Osborne, Kansas. That same year they moved to Wyoming, settling on a homestead in the Dry Creek community. Here they made their home until 1938 when Mr. Gorsuch retired and moved to Douglas. Survivors include one son, Lee F., of Glendo; two daughters, Mrs. C. M. Keck of Gillette and Marjorie Whited of Douglas; three brothers, Charlie, who was his twin brother, and George, both of Osborne, Kan., and Arthur of Arthur, Neb.; and three sisters, Mrs. Frank Forney and Mrs. Harry Corbett of Osborne and Mrs. Vernie Abernathy of Lawrence, Kansas.
