Betty M. Hoover was born on March 21, 1921, to T. A. & Hattie (Creech) Carter in Richland Springs, TX. She married Herbert Adam Hoover on March 23, 1953, in Odessa, TX. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1981. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include son, James Hoover of Stephenville, TX; step-children, Keith Hoover of Sayre, OK, Carol Haseloff of Austin, TX, and Danny & wife, Teresa Hoover of San Antonio, TX; sister, Jane Behrens of San Saba; brother, Andrew Carter of San Antonio, TX; and several nieces and nephews including her loving caregiver, Tom Stover of Stephenville, TX.
