Bill was a star at Warren Woods High School. He was co-captain of the Debate Team, which won two Michigan State Championships in a row. He was the editor of the school newspaper, The Jargon. He was the President of The Senior Class of 1973. And he was my first boyfriend. He was killed in a one-car accident when he swerved to avoid hitting a group of children jaywalking, and crashed into a tree. He had so much potential and aspired to be President of the United States some day. His death was a great tragedy to all of us who knew and loved him.
