Josh was an intense young man, loved his guitar, his tabby cat and his friends. I worked the night shift with him at a store stocking items. He was a quiet young guy and got along well with everyone. A few of us motherly women took kindly to him and sometimes we would bring hims a snack or something.

I liked Josh a lot and after finding out how much he loved to jam on his guitar, I introduced him to my son. He came over a few times and they played guitars together, and we visited him and his girlfriend.

Josh affected our family in a quiet and positive way, in the short few years we knew him. Underneath all his tattoos and piercings, was such a sweet young man.

We were sorry to see him move from Lakewood, Ohio back to Anniston, Alabama, but happy for him to return to his family and home. He was not home long before a car accident took his life.

We miss him, we will never forget him.

Josh was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in Rex, Georgia, until he was 14 years old and his family moved to Alexandria, Alabama, in 1999.
