Frances Pauline Carroll Johnson, 84, of Cleveland, Tenn., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at a Chattanooga hospital.
She graduated from Charleston High School in 1954 and after that she graduated with her RN degree from the Erlanger School of Nursing. Pauline was a registered nurse in the area and retired after 50 plus years of service. She was saved and baptized at First Baptist of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Dewey Carroll and Froney Allie Davis; and siblings, Eloise Carroll, Willie Mae Aaron, Lois Ann Gibson and Harold Gibson.
Survivors include her son, Gary Edward Johnson; siblings, Eunavee Vollmar, Willard Carroll, Wildon Carroll and wife, Marie, Kenneth Gibson and wife, Marcia, James Randall Gibson and wife, Grace, Joyce Cardwell, Marilyn Gail Pippin; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Cheathem officiating. Interment will follow in Michigan Avenue Baptist Church Cemetery.
