Alexander Patrick Jensen, 24, of Blackfoot, passed away, Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Bingham Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automotive accident.

Alex was born December 23, 1993 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Marshall Lynn Jensen and Christy Lynn Swieca Jensen.

Alex attended grade school in Leavenworth, Kansas. The family moved to the Blackfoot area when he was 13, and Alex graduated from Snake River High School in 2012.

Alex was working for Bingham County. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed skateboarding and playing the guitar.

Alex is survived by his parents, Marshall and Christy Jensen of Blackfoot; sister, Jessica Jensen of Pocatello; nephews, Joziah and Jasper Malave; aunt, Misty J. Wurtz; uncle, Chris Jensen; grandparents, Darrel and Catherine Jensen of Blackfoot, Arthur and Debra Swieca of Lansing, KS; and great grandparents, Darrel and Carma Jensen of Blackfoot.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Thomas 4th LDS Ward. Family will meet with friends and relatives from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 at Hawker Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
