Sandra Rae (Albaugh) Pier McPherson went peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father July 29, 2017, at Prestige Care Center in Centralia. Sandy was born April 5, 1942, in Chehalis, Wash.

She was a caring, loving mother and grandmother, who loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandy appreciated visits from friends and family, very much, which at times, included watching her favorite baseball team, the Mariners; she kept stats on each game she watched.

Preceding her in death, was her mother, Addie Albaugh and father, Pete Albaugh; brother, Gerald Albaugh; sister-in-law, Jean Albaugh; and her first husband, Jerry Pier.

Sandy is survived by her daughters, Terry Ulmer (Brian) and Cindy Brookes (Jake); son, Bub Pier; as well as nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at 1 p.m., at the Jackson Prairie Church. Refreshments to follow.

Arrangements are in the care of Sticklin Funeral Chapel in Centralia.
