Phyllis was a very loved woman by anyone who knew her. She was a very giving person. She was loyal, friendly, just the light of everyones heart.

Here is a poem I wrote about Phyllis hours after she passed away....

In memory of Phyllis....

Who woulda ever thought that would be the last time I heard your voice
God knew it was his choice
Who woulda ever thought that would be the last time I got a hug from you.
Please know I will always love you.
Who woulda ever thought that you saying you loved me before I left would be the last?
As I write this my heart is beating so fast.
Who woulda ever thought holding your hand that day would be the last?
Who woulda ever thought when I saw you smile the other day it would be the last smile?
Who woulda ever thought that by closing the door behind me would be the door that would be me closing the door on my eyes to see you ever again?
Who woulda ever thought someone so warm,so compationate and kind such as yourself would get so sick like this, and pass on?

I wrote that poem a few hours after hearing of her passing. Because just a few days prior I was with her in the hospital by her side.

I'd like to speak personally about Phyllis, how she was towards me personally. Phyllis was a big sister to me. She was there for me thru good and bad. We could sing together, laugh together, cry together etc... Such a wonderful human being. She is someone you could totally confide in knowing knowing that if you told her something you KNOW it would stay within her and it wouldn't leave her at all. Anotherwords she was very trustworthy too. She was an amazing friend. I still can't believe she is gone, but I do believe that is she is my guardian angel looking over me. For various reasons that are too personal to write in here... but to Phyllis.. thank you :)
